FocusWest Public Affairs Channel

In January 2003 FocusWest began distributing programs as well as creating them. We have in place a new service that increases the availability of regionally produced news and public affairs resources. For example, shows formerly available only to each station's viewers -- Outdoor Idaho, Oregon Field Guide, Wild Nevada, Main Street Wyoming, or Utah Wild -- can now be seen across the region. It also expands the distribution of news and public affairs television shows produced outside the region that may be of particular value to westerners.

Currently, FocusWest programming is available on IdahoPTV in the Boise area (DTV channel 21), Idaho Falls/Pocatello area (DTV channel 17), Moscow (DTV channel 12), Coeur d'Alene area (DTV channel 45), and Twin Falls (DTV channel 22). It is now airing on KUED-Salt Lake City, and on a limited basis, on Wyoming Public Television. By late 2003 it should be available in northern Nevada on KNPB-Reno.
