Kay Brothers: We can't ignore what happened in the past, but we need to strike compromises

As I said, I think we all need to realize that we live in a watershed and the watershed has a lot of stakeholders. And I think that you are talking about the past also -- we can't ignore what happened in the past but we cannot ignore who is in the watershed now. Compromises have to be struck. We have to understand the needs of everyone in the watershed. On both sides -- those that were there in the past have to realize that people are here too, and both needs have to be considered, I think, when you look for the future and for compromise.
